St George's Church Hanworth

Welcome

Greetings and a very warm welcome to you. St George's Hanworth is a Church of England parish in the catholic tradition and our mission is to make the love of Christ known through excellence of worship, and active care and concern for others.

Our history begins in Saxon times and our community has built, loved, and cared for this church for more than 1200 years.

We are proud, too, of our catholic witness to the Christian faith within the Church of England.

Everyone is welcome at St George's - and we are happy to explain what we do and why we do it - and to assist you with your spiritual journey.

There is time after every service to pray - and there is always time for a chat over coffee.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
