If you would like the service delivered using British Sign Language, please let us know and we will provide a trained communicator for this.

We have parking for approx 20 cars outside and a disabled space, plus more parking along the nearby roads

There is a removable ramp stored inside the building and can be deployed when the building is in use for services and other functions.

Stained Glass

Our unisex toilets are in self-contained, lockable cubicles with wash hand basin facilities. Two standard and one accessible WC with toddler seat and baby change facility.


Music and Worship

We have 8 well-loved and much-used bells. Our bell-ringers practice each Wednesday evening and ring Sunday mornings and for weddings and some funerals

We have two organs. An Allen MDS-35 Digital, installed in 1991. Two manuals with radiating pedal board used regularly for worship. A Bevington Pipe Organ, installed in 1894, restored in 1965 with an electric blower. Two manuals and concave parallel pedalboard, playable but not used frequently.

8am on the 1st Sunday morning each month.

We have a small, robed, SATB choir led by our Director of Music. Rehearsals are weekly on Thursday at 18:30. The choir accompanies responses and hymns for worship during 09:30 Parish Eucharist service, usually with an anthem during communion with a sung evensong on the first Sunday of the month in Feb - July, Sept - Nov. The choir takes a break from all services during July/August. We welcome all voices. If you would like to sing with us, please contact our Director of Music [email protected]


Groups, Courses and Activities

bread&belonging
Meeting in St Michael's Room and using the kitchen. Focusing on planning, making and eating a meal together. Sessions are normally every 3rd Sunday of the month from 2-4pm. Except August.

Coffee Pots and Tiny Tots, We meet once a week on Wednesday mornings from 10-11.30am in St Michael’s Room for the toddlers and carers. We will provide refreshments and have a chat whilst the children have fun with crafts and play.
Meets every Wednesday in the newly furnished St Michael's Room; the Parish room attached to the church 10.00- 11.30am during school term times. Contact the Church for more details. All parents/carers of toddlers and babies are welcome to join us. Please see the future dates for the group;


Help for Visitors

Recently installed and available for those using our church and hall.

Available inside the South door, £1

Open daily 10am - 4pm

We have water bowls and a toy library for well-behaved dogs (and their owners) to use when visiting.

The church is open for private prayer on weekdays & Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and 11.30am to 4pm on Sundays


Other Features

We collect on behalf of the12 Apostles Church Foodbank

Handheld and headset microphones for speech and the ability to play recorded music in both the church and the adjoining St Michael's room. There is a projector and screen. Free Wi-Fi throughout.

We have 2 Churchyards here and feature on the Herts And Middlesex Wildlife Trust website after an extensive survey of the large varieties of flowers and plants which are to be found in our grounds.
