Following receipt of the Diocesan Share Request, the PCC met this past week to agree our 2026 budget.  To achieve balance the last bit of wriggle room is to be extracted from our accounting system, fundraising needs to increase and the VSR rent is to be raised. However, the final piece of the jigsaw is that we will shortly need to appeal to everybody to increase their giving - we understand that, at this time, it will be a big ask but, as Bishop Stephen recently said, ‘even though we forget and don't like being told this, we are the wealthiest, healthiest, longest living people ever to sit in our pews’.
