In celebration of the centenary year of our Diocese of Blackburn, we're holding a special open day in church. Come and learn about how spirituality has developed in Grindleton parish over the past 1000 years. Discover the remarkable story of faith, worship and community from the medieval period to the present day.

Tea and scones will be available throughout the day. It's completely free and all are very welcome to come along!

St Ambrose Church, Grindleton

We are a friendly rural church situated in the heart of Grindleton village, serving the parish of Grindleton and Sawley. Our church is part of a United Benefice with St Mary the Virgin Gisburn and St Peter and Paul's Bolton-by-Bowland. All are very welcome to worship with us, whatever your background, age or outlook.

St Ambrose is open for all regular services, and open to visitors Monday - Saturday 9:30am-4pm.
