Pilgrimage to Sawley Abbey

After our morning service, we'll have a gentle walk to Sawley Abbey (there will be cars available for those unable to walk). The walk is approximately 30-40 minutes and there will be prayers, drumming and Taizé chanting along the way.

There will be a free tour on arrival to the Abbey and we'll then have a picnic together on the grounds (please bring a picnic to enjoy at the Abbey). All are welcome to join!

St Ambrose Church, Grindleton

We are a friendly rural church situated in the heart of Grindleton village, serving the parish of Grindleton and Sawley. Our church is part of a United Benefice with St Mary the Virgin Gisburn and St Peter and Paul's Bolton-by-Bowland. All are very welcome to worship with us, whatever your background, age or outlook.
