St John's church is a beautiful wedding venue; steeped in over 175 years of history and prayer, and yet a warm and welcoming place for the special day on which a bride and groom dedicate their lives to one another and begin their new life among the community.
You don't need to be a regular church-goer in order to get married at St John's as long as you live in the parish or have another qualifying connection (do check out this useful website for lots of ideas and help: https://www.yourchurchwedding.org/ ).

Services of Blessing and Dedication
Couples who don’t marry in church may still want God to be part of their marriage.
A service of blessing is an opportunity for a couple to declare their love before God and to ask for God's help and blessing upon them.
Services of Re-affirmation of Vows
Couples may like to renew their vows on a special anniversary or perhaps after a period of illness or difficulty. Most often, the service would take place in the church but can, on occasion happen at an alternate venue, such as in a residential home or other venue where the couple can gather with their friends and family.
