Church of England Diocese of Southwark Mortlake with East Sheen

Christ Church

Welcome to Christ Church, part of the team parish of Mortlake with East Sheen.

Following Government advice and guidance from our Church leaders we are able to re-open for limited periods for private prayer during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. We will open every day from 2.00 - 4.00pm. Please follow safe distancing and good hygiene signage.

We are pleased to announce that we are now open for public worship on Sundays using the Common Worship Communion service at 10.00am and on Wednesdays using the Prayer Book at 10.30am. Services will also be available at these times on our Facebook page.

Resources for continuing to pray and worship during these extremely difficult times are updated regularly here and on our social media and websites.

We are a Victorian church that is very much a part of our present day community. We look forward to seeing you at any of our services in person or online. Meanwhile be assured of our prayers and if we can offer any help and support please contact us.

Please see our resources, news and services headings for the latest news of livestreaming services and other resources during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The parish of Mortlake with East Sheen (which includes Christ Church) is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
