Holy Communion is a fairly traditional and relaxed Service. There is Bible based preaching leading to the celebration of communion. We gather at the Lord's table to remember, celebrate and encounter the living Lord by faith and with thanksgiving as we receive the bread and wine. St Mary's has an open communion table. All practising Christians of any denomination are welcome to share in Holy Communion with us.
A Sunday School for children aged between 3 and 11 years runs during the service.

Our informal communion service using contemporary forms of worship is led by our worship group. There is a short talk, and on the 3rd Sunday of the month the children stay in the service and take part, with readings and prayers. Prayer ministry is available at the end of the service as well as refreshments.

Choral Evensong is held at St Mary’s Church, Woburn at 6.00 pm on the first Sunday of the month. Enjoy a reflective time of worship, with beautiful choral music, seated in the choir stalls.

BCP Holy Communion service is held at 10.00 am on the 1st Thursday of the Month - a short service of Holy Communion held in St Mary’s Lady Chapel, using the beautiful language of the Book of Common Prayer.
