The service includes bible readings, a sermon, given by one of the team, contemporary and traditional worship music and prayers.
Children are very welcome and there is a dedicated area for children and their carers in the church too.
Everyone is welcome to join us and we serve tea/coffee after the service and take the opportunity to catch up with each other.

Pop in for a chat and a coffee or tea. No fee for refreshments, donations gratefully accepted but not essential.
Please note we will not be open on Bank Holiday Mondays.

As we prepare for our Lenten journey, we begin with the imposition of ashes, the sign of the cross.
This will be a service with Bible readings and a short homily, led by the Archdeacon of Hertford, the Venerable Janet Mackenzie.

We gather to listen to bible readings and a sermon by one of the clergy team, singing contemporary songs and traditional hymns and prayers.
Our children go to the Upper Room for Kids Church during the service and join us later to share what they have been learning too.
All are welcome and we always serve refreshments after the service-do stay for a coffee and a chat.
We don't have a communion in this service so if you would like to receive communion, please check our services in the churches in our benefice at Aspenden and Westmill.

You are warmly invited to this special Choral Evensong with a combined choir of singers, and a congregation drawn from churches across the Buntingford Deanery. The service will be led by incumbents and laity from multiple benefices and parishes. Refreshments will be served after.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CHOIRS AND SINGERS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE:
Singers can join rehearsals for the combined choir from 2.15pm for a
2.30pm start. There will be a choir tea at about 4.15pm. Robes optional.

We gather together for our worship at 10am,Sunday 27th December 2026. This will be the one service in the benefice.
