In the light of the directive from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York that ‘All Public worship is suspended until further notice’, St Mary the Virgin, Clothall will suspend all public worship for the foreseeable future. Obviously is a drastic measure, not experienced in our lifetime, but if this evil virus is to be contained and eventually suppressed then such a measure must be pursued.At this crucial time, it is important that as a community we help others who are in need or are overcome by the situation.
