Christ the King
Due to the increase of local Covid-19 cases we took the difficult decision to close the church buildings and restrict our public worship. Thankfully the situation is improving and we are now offering worship each Sunday in Holy Trinity and Christ the King with some variation.
The Sunday service from Holy Trinity will be available online and the Sunday Evening service by telephone audio conference will continue at 7pm. See the Services and Events, and Notices section for other online services and social events.
ABOUT Christ the King
Situated near to the shops, the church is in the same complex as the Community Centre. It is a modern, multi-purpose building previously shared with the Roman Catholic Church but now run by the Anglican parish of Holy Trinity only.

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
