It's a great delight to announce the Wednesday lunch starting on 25th May at 12:30pm at St Mark's. A simple lunch of soup, bread, cheese and salad will be provided at a cost of £5. Money raised will go to the Charity of the Month. This comes from requests at the Lent Lunches that something similar continues as a place to meet. The lunch will take place each month on the last Wednesday. All are welcome.
<strong>The Parish Prayer card gives you topics to pray for and you know others are praying at the same time each day for the same thing.</strong>Each month we produce a Parish prayer card for people to use to pray for our local community, the world, the church and ourselves. Join in praying with others from our Churches, between 7 and 8 am and 9 and 10 pm each day.
On November 2nd or the nearest Sunday to it anyone who wants to remember someone they love who has died can come to a special service to light a candle and say special prayers. This is often known as ‘All Souls’. On Sunday 31st October St Andrew and St Mark will be having a service of remembrance for those who we have loved and has died at St Andrew's Church at 6pm.
