St Aidan’s Thorneyburn You are welcome to visit our Church. We have wild flowers and red squirrels in our churchyard. Please come in and look around. In this quiet space you can shelter, meditate, pray……….There are wonderful walks, some lead by the Northumberland National Park Rangers, that pass our church. There are many more footpaths and bike trails over moors and through the Kielder forest that pass near here too. We have a booklet Wildflowers of Tarset produced by a previous churchwarden available for sale as well as the St Cuthbert's Three Church trail booklet. The church is one of the Napolianic Churches and has recently had its bicentenary so there is history to explore. We have recently remapped the churchyard and graves and all the information is available on display. You are welcome to break your journey at St Aidan's.
