Picnic with the Parson: two topics to brainstorm?

Online services: After the Covid lockdowns, Fr Chris and Donna were keen to continue some kind of online worship experience, for us to become a 'mixed mode church', but backed off because of the wave of discouragement this idea generated. Times change, people's opinions change: is it time to have this discussion again? Dinard offer online worship as well as 'in person', should we do the same?

French in our services: Archdeacon Peter Hooper was against routine use of French in our services, but he has gone, and the diocese is seeing 'use of local languages' as part of our mission strategy. Are there ways our services here could incorporate more French without swamping people who struggle to learn the language? Most provinces of the Anglican world - including Fr Chris's spiritual homeland! - provide ministry in more than one language, and bilingual services are extremely common in many places.

Two topics which require careful reflection - our conversation on Sunday will be part of that reflection, rather than a moment of decision.
