Other notices:

Archdeacon's Visit: Thank you to everybody who made last weekend such a success in so many varied ways. The meetings went well, the services were respectably attended. The Archdeacon went off very pleased with what he had heard and seen: so pleased that we are likely to see him again in June....with a Bishop in tow!

Alpha Course The Alpha Course will go ahead after Easter once dates and other arrangements are finalised. Helen Wordsworth and Mary Jackson will be the leaders, so please keep in touch with them as plans unfold. Something More Housegroup and the Tuesday Bible Study are likely to be in abeyance until after the 16 sessions of the Alpha Course, though we may see if there is appetite to re-start once the Alpha Course has begin - with our relatively low numbers, we do not wish for one meeting to detract from the other!

April Magazine: Small items can still be accepted, but Sunday is the absolute deadline.

Easter Monday at Gratot: Don't forget, tickets are still available for our Easter Monday event at Gratot. Fr Chris is preparing a limited but special Plant Stall - bring your gardening friends: there will be a few garden plant varieties not commercially available anywhere in France!

Funeral of Revd Peter Hales: The Funeral Eucharist will be celebrated at Precey Church (Peter's home village) at 10h30 on Thursday 9th April, to be followed by refreshments in the nearby hall, then cremation at Villedieu in the afternoon. We are grateful to Fr Francis Marécaille for the privilege of celebrating an Anglican Eucharist on this occasion. Please share this information widely, as we know many will wish to be there to remember Peter and to support Pippa and the family.

Please pray for our Chaplaincy:

Lord Jesus Christ,
thank you for calling us to be a Church under the banner of your Name:
may we look to you today and find clear vision for tomorrow.
May our life together bring you glory,
as you make of us a living invitation to enter the joy of your Kingdom. Amen
