Other notices:

Something a bit different? Only a few months have an extra 5th Sunday: this is an opportunity to do things a little differently. The service this Sunday at Avranches will be an extended exploration of the Holy Trinity through time, led by Fr Chris: a special booklet for the service will be provided.

Annual General Meeting Thank you all for such a well supported meeting. The day was a delight!

Bishop Andrew is coming! Please book the date: Sun, 21st June Bp Andrew will celebrate an 11h00 Eucharist at Hommeel, and we plan a Bring and Share lunch afterwards. It will be our opportunity to welcome him, and to say farewell to Archdeacon Peter Hooper at the same time.

Contact and support? We have been contacted by a lady called Zandie, from near Vire. She has been widowed, and is finding life as a widow in rural Normandy to be lonely and tough. She writes: ' I am reaching out not specifically for formal bereavement counselling, but in the hope of finding connection with other English-speaking widowed women in this region who may be open to friendship, mutual support, occasional coffee, conversation, or simply peer understanding' Because of confidentiality etc we cannot offer her names, but if you think this might be something for you please email Fr Chris, who can give you her contact details for you to reach out to her.

Please continue to pray for our Chaplaincy

Lord Jesus Christ,
thank you for calling us to be a Church under the banner of your Name:
may we look to you today and find clear vision for tomorrow.
May our life together bring you glory,
as you make of us a living invitation to enter the joy of your Kingdom. Amen
