Not exactly new! In time for this Sunday at Gratot we have bilingual Eucharist booklets! These are a 'temporary fix' in a basic format, a straight translation of our existing 'green' service card. This service is due for revision this winter anyway, at which point we will produce a bilingual format in a more permanent form for long-term use.
Something More Housegroup: this week's session will take a different approach. We'll watch a fascinating brief video from a young American Christian entitled: 'I Attended Anglican Church For a Year...What Changed?' He's already a Christian, but attending an Anglican Church changes him in many ways. His excited discovery of things we tend to take for granted should give rise to some interesting discussions. There will be a surprise in the tail of this session, but you’ll need to come along to find out! (Donna will facilitate this session, which Fr Chris will join if a medical appointment ends on time)'And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they (Rev 7, v13)?' - a thoroughly Biblical way of welcoming Fr Bruno, formerly the Revd Ben Woodley, to our Eucharist at Gratot this Sunday!
Please continue to pray for our Chaplaincy
Lord Jesus Christ,
thank you for calling us to be a Church
under the banner of your Name:
may we look to you today
and find clear vision for tomorrow.
May our life together bring you glory,
as you make of us a living invitation
to enter the joy of your Kingdom. Amen
