Stay in touch! Find our magazine here, request our mailings
We hope you would like to stay in touch - to hear our news, to join us for worship or activities, to support us by your giving and by your prayers.
Here are some ways we can keep contact.1 'The Grapevine' - our Chaplaincy magazine
This monthly illustrated publication (online, or print copies by request) offers Christian reflection and teaching, news, reports of church events, plans for the future, and a timetable of activities and services for the month. The current issue can be read or downloaded from the link below: if you are on our mailing list you will automatically receive a message each month when a new magazine is published.
November begins with All Saints Day, and the saints get their due place in this month's magazine. The call to Christian living is a call to follow Christ, and in that calling big things like world mission and little things like our daily acts of love and worship all have their place: you can read about both this month. Our church life is shifting into autumn to winter mode with the darker nights, with a planned quiz and family meal at Gratot, and summer picnics being replaced by our popular monthly soup and dessert lunches. You can read about all this, and much more, in our November magazine.

2 Friday Focus.
This simple weekly mailing (with occasional supplements) provides details of services for the next two Sundays, a timetable for the week, and brief news items. Service sheets for the coming Sunday are included, so you can look at hymns and readings in advance. 'Friday Focus' always appears on the front of this website: if you would like to receive this regularly by email, please send a request using the contact form 'get in touch'.
3 Giving
Our Chaplaincy relies completely on the generosity of members and supporters to meet the cost of facilities we provide and work we do: we receive no subsidies from any other source to meet our responsibilities, which include the costs of ministry and outreach, and building costs including church rents, heating and lighting, and the insurance and upkeep of the buildings we own.
Fund raising events share the load and help us to make new contacts, but these are no substitute for systematic giving: the church is there even when we (for whatever reason) are not! Please see our 'Regular giving and donations' page for ways to give in support of our work.
4 Prayer
Please pray for us, as we pray for you:Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for calling us to be a Church under the banner of your Name:
may we look to you today and find clear vision for tomorrow.
May our life together bring you glory, as you make of us a living invitation
to enter the joy of your Kingdom. Amen.
