Join us to enjoy a Day of Quiet Contemplation in the beautiful surroundings at Cortijo Carranque, a Christian retreat centre under 50 minutes from St George’s. 

As we prepare ourselves for the busy time leading up to Christmas, we encourage you to take a little time to reflect on your faith and the coming birth of Christ.  

Outine Programme for the Day:

Arrive at 9.30am – morning coffee and prayer
Time for quiet reflection and prayer, or to simply relax in peaceful surroundings
Mid-day Eucharist with short reflection on the modern Christmas Carol, 'Make room in your heart'
Simple lunch of bread, cheese and fruit
Time for quiet reflection and prayer, or to simply relax in peaceful surroundings
Closing prayers
