About Us

All Saints Church, Hatton, is a 120 year old former Mission Church. It has a beautiful stain glass window dating from the 1920's and an impressive wooden ceiling and organ. All Saints caters for all ages. Dove Club is for primary school children and meets on Tuesday evenings from 5.30 - 6.45pm during term time in the Jubilee Hall next door to the church. Bible stories, craft, songs and games. Little Saints for the under fives including babies plus Mums, Dads, Grandparents and carers meets in church every Tuesday afternoon during term time from 1.15 - 2.30pm. The children listen to a story, sing a song or two, make a craft item and then have plenty of time to play while the adults have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. We also have a soft play area for the tiny tots.

Although currently in interregnum (without a vicar), we are still able to hold weekly Sunday services at 10am led by members of our talented congregation with a visiting vicar leading a service of Holy Communion on the second Sunday of the month.

Covid 19 safety measures are in place so please wear a facemask whilst in church and use the hand sanitiser provided on entry. Thank you.

Please visit our website www.allsaintshatton.co.uk for more information on our church and forthcoming events. We are also on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/allsaintshatton. Here you can find any last minute updates and changes to our service content.

We try to make everyone feel welcome at All Saints.

Safeguarding

The parish of Hatton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer PSO. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact where appropriate the PSO or the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our Parochial Safeguarding Officer (PSO) is Mrs Hilary Smith who can be contacted on 07749951093. Safeguarding information is on display in both the church and Jubilee Hall. Mrs Smith has and continues to receive safeguarding training from the Diocesen safeguarding team.  All adults working with children at All Saints have received safeguarding training and have enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring service.
