St Michael the Archangel

Welcome to St Michael the Archangel, Chagford. Our church family and its ancient building are at the heart of the vibrant town of Chagford, in the Dartmoor National Park, West Devon. We belong to a family of churches, the North Dartmoor parishes, which seek to show God's love in this beautiful part of the country in real and practical ways; learn more of the ways of Jesus; and be inspired by what the Holy Spirit is doing among our communities. Everyone of whatever tradition, and none, will find a warm welcome here.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
