Church of England Diocese of Exeter Martinhoe

St Martin

Dear Virtual Church Visitor,

In these difficult times our thoughts and prayers are especially with those in the medical and care professions working hard to relieve the suffering of those who are affected by the current pandemic and with the families of loved ones who may be suffering.

St Martin's is currently locked and there are no services.
Eucharist services which had been celebrated at St Mary's Parish Church in Lynton on Sunday mornings are now suspended.

This page will continue to keep you up to date with church news and prayers and where appropriate links to online services. The BBC continues to broadcast a service on a Sunday morning at 8am on local radio and at 8.10am on Radio 4. You will also find a link to Revd Samantha's weekly service on Youtube.

In the meantime you may find these resources for personal prayer at home useful. The Safeguarding information has been updated with a pdf file for the current pandemic situation.

Thank you to all those who supported the Christmas Raffle. Here are the results.

Dear Friends,

In this Sunday’s gospel we are given a summary of Jesus experiences of baptism and temptation and the joyful message that emerges from them as he brings his mission to the world.
