When I was interviewed for this post, Archdeacon Mark surprised me with a final question: "what is the gospel, for you, summed up in a single sentence?" Perhaps because it was a surprise it was easier to answer the heart:
Today I presided at a Whitsun Wedding - on this beautiful sunlit afternoon the church in Lynton was a place of joy as the couple made their vows surrounded by their friends and family sharing in the celebration.
Dear Friends, May 14th is the beginning of Christian Aid week. This year they are featuring Malawi - where there is a deep need for better seeds to enable better harvests in a changing climate.
