With the civic support of officials and local groups including standards, and wreath laying, and silence, to remember those who sacrificed so much in war. With prayers, readings and hymns. Usually a well attended service by all ages.</h4>

Come along to celebrate Harvest Festival this Sunday 12th October.10.30am Family Thanksgiving Harvest service including communion at Christ Church Oakworth. We are collecting non perishable foods items like tins, pasta, cereals etc., for the social supermarket GOOD FOOD KEIGHLEY.3pm Traditional Harvest Service at St. John's Newsholme. Gill Lane. Followed by -4pm Fun Family Auction where we can bid for the donated fresh produce (homegrown or baked or bought) like fruit, veg, flowers, dairy etc. We have even auctioned paintings by a local artist. All to raise funds for Christian Aid.
