About Us

Situated in a friendly, happy and busy village, we are a ‘middle of the road' church with vestments.

Each Sunday we have:

8am: Holy Communion Service (BCP)

10am: Holy Communion Service (2nd, 4th & 5th Sunday of the month), Morning Worship (1st Sunday of the month), and Church for Everyone - Cafe-style worship (3rd Sunday of the month).

The current Sunday attendance is approximately 50 adults plus children each week including a choir of up to 12 people led by a Director of Music and affiliated to the RSCM.

Growing Together (a house group of about 10) has met regularly for several years, and we run a regular Lent Group.

We are a village church, hosting the annual Remembrance Sunday service, the Village Carol service, and the Christingle service for the village. We expect to have a full church at these services, often with extra seating.

At the moment, we are exploring the future use of our buildings. We are actively considering how this can be used as an opportunity to reach out to the village and involve everyone in the future use of their Parish Church.

During the year we run our Summer Fete in June, the Goose Fair in September and St. Laurence's Larder at the Cuckoo Fair (providing food and drink all day in the Memorial Hall). These are intended not only for fund-raising, but more importantly as opportunities to bring in the local community.
