Other information about us
Due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, all church events and meetings have been taking place online. However, we are pleased to announce that in-person gatherings are now taking place as well.
To attend our weekly on-line gatherings, please go to YouTube and type "The Church in Landford" into the search bar. There you will be able to access and watch all the Sunday Slots (our weekly worship slot) we have participated in over the past 15 months. You will also find our children's group videos - "Stepping Stones", which have been uploaded monthly since April 2020. We encourage you to subscribe to our YouTube channel and then you will receive notifications every time a new video is uploaded.
We will be continuing with our on-line Sunday Slots for those of you who can't attend our on-site gatherings for any reason, and for those of you who are not yet ready to meet in-person with large numbers of people. You are still part of us and we welcome you to our gatherings.
Our on-line Stepping Stones children's group has now finished for the summer, but is planning to resume meeting in-person from September 2021. Please email Katie on [email protected] for more information.
Our on-site gatherings are happening at various sites - please see the "Services and Events" page for more details.
We are still a growing, warm and friendly community seeking to point people to the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, despite the current restrictions and on-going uncertainty of the times we live in. Please feel free to join us in our gatherings on-line or on-site, and email [email protected] if you would like any more information. We look forward to meeting you...

St Mary's Church/ Redlynch
Welcome to St Mary’s Church, Redlynch
For those who live in or near the parish of Redlynch in Wiltshire, the image of the church will be instantly recognisable as our Parish Church. It is situated in Lover, a village made famous in recent years by the re-launch of its famous Valentine Post featured on radio and television.
This building was consecrated in 1837 and over the years since then, many thousands of people have been through its doors, some of whom now lie at peace in its churchyard. More information about its history and the wildlife found in the surrounding churchyard is available on our website – there is a link below.
"The parish of Redlynch: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
