We are hosting Songs of Praise at All Saints Westbury on this Sunday, at the end of the Westbury Festival. We are inviting people to choose their favourite hymn or song and let us know what it means to you and why you have chosen it.
You would be welcome to introduce your hymn or song with a few words in the service if you would like to.
Please let Ruth Hann, our choir leader and churchwarden, ([email protected]) have your choice by Sunday 13th July, so we have time to include them in the service.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Lammas Day Service

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Brokerswood: All Saints
Address
Fairwood Road Brokerswood, BA13 4EJ, United Kingdom

Lammas comes from the Old English word for “loaf mass” and celebrates the first fruits of the Harvest. Traditionally, a loaf of bread is made from the first grain of the Harvest and brought to church to be blessed, symbolising gratitude to God for the harvest and for the sustenance it provides.

There will be a special service at the Tin Church on Sunday 3 August at 6.00 pm. Everyone is welcome. We shall be bringing a loaf of bread to this service and there will be some refreshments afterwards.

This is part of a series of services celebrating Rural Festivals in our most rural setting. We hope you will come and join us.
