Midsummer Music Festival 20-21 & 27-28 June 2026

St Andrew’s Laverstock is proud to introduce the first Laverstock Midsummer Music Festival, 20-21 & 27-28 June 2026. A free festival of music featuring local talent, and emerging and established groups. We will have music running all day, food and refreshments, all located at St Andrew’s Church. All performances in the church, with marquees outside. 

Food & refreshments: BBQ on the Saturdays from 3pm-8pm. Hot and cold drinks. Cakes and biscuits. Ice-creams. Alcoholic bar is available on the second weekend only. Please feel free to bring picnics and your own supplies. 

Parking: available on the road outside church - please park only on one side of the road, and in the car park outside Wyvern St Edmunds School, parking only in marked bays. 

Saturday 20 June: 
12.30 Talented Young Musicians - Showcase of soloists
2.00 Robert & William Blackham - Father and son guitar & mandolin duo
3.30 St Mark's School - Choirs and soloists
5.30 Tripwire - A young, lively four-piece band
7.00 All Saints Collective - Foot-stomping joy from age-old sources
9.00 Andy Mayo - Singer-songwriter with a story to tell

Sunday 21 June: 
9.00 & 10.30 Church
3.00 Sunday Matinee Musicale "open mic" event featuring Christine Hill, Clarabelle Donson, Ros Leverett, Vic Salt and you! Bring yourself along and take the mic.  
6.00 Hymns & Pimm's - Favourite hymns on the Organ with a beverage! Let us know your choices in advance.

Saturday 27 June: 
2.30 St Andrew's School Choir
3.10 Benjamin Baker - organ recital (newly added)
4.00 Greg Smith Ensemble - Four piece band
5.00 Chris Shuker - Acoustic guitar songs from 50s-60s+
6.00 The Salisbury Pluckers - Celebrating 10 years on the ukulele.
8.00 Maerefolk - Traditional four-piece folk music band.

Sunday 28 June: 
9.00 & 10.30 Church
3.40 Slovakian dances and songs with Ellie & Olivia Blaho-Schlogl with Olivia and Beatrice Brown from St Osmund's (change of programme) 
4.30 Damian Clarke - Popular folk on the hammer dulcimer and Hurdy Gurdy
5.15 Cream Teas
6.00 Festival Worship - Hymns, Psalms, and readings for Celebration.
8.00 Bluestone Arc - Salisbury based high energy folk-rock metal!
