Churchyard Matters

St Andrew's Churchyard. We encourage people to use our wonderful churchyard, right down through the allotments to the river where there is a quiet space. Volunteers maintain the lawns and the wild spaces, and there is always an opportunity to join in with lawn cutting or on one of our many churchyard maintenance days! 

Burials and Memorials. It is an open churchyard and there are spaces available for burials and internment of cremated remains. We are governed by Churchyard rules from the Chancellor of the Diocese and we have included these below. 

Eco Group. We are an Eco Church affiliated parish and have a Silver award rating. Our Parish Eco group thinks of new initiatives to keep us on track.

Animal Friendly. We are an animal friendly church and like to observe and promote the welfare of the wildlife in our churchyard.
