We would love you to come and join us at any of our services when you’ll be sure of a warm welcome. Our Sunday services usually include Holy Communion and have traditional hymns, accompanied by the organ. More details of services can be found below. Refreshments are served after the service. In addition to services St Peter's is open every day from 10.00am to 5.00pm for visitors for private prayer or to sit in the peaceful and historic surroundings.

A short service of night prayer at 6.00pm on Wednesday, 2 September at St Peter's. Everyone is welcome.

The ancient office of Night Prayer (Compline) derives its name from a Latin word meaning 'completion' (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day.

Ride and Stride

St Peter's will be open on Saturday, 12 September to welcome all those taking part in Ride and Stride this year.

Ride and Stride is an annual national sponsored event, organised locally by Wiltshire Historic Churches Trusts which has been going since 1984 and has raised over £1.7 million for the county’s churches. 50% of the money raised goes to the participant’s chosen church and the other half to the County Historic Churches Trust.

Participants, who may be cyclists, walkers, horse-riders or drivers of mobility scooters, visit as many churches as they like, planning their own route. They can be of any age, but under-13s must be accompanied by an adult.

All denominations are welcome.

A special family service to celebrate the Harvest will be held on Sunday, 27 September 2026 at 10.00am. Join us singing a selection of favourite hymns and readings for this special time of year.

Donations for The Hub food bank in Bradford on Avon of tinned and packaged foods will be collected at the service or can be left anytime in the box at the rear of the church.
