We are researching the history of our very interesting bells [that date from as early as 1400], oak bell frame, massive beams that are above and below the bell frame and indeed the very unusual church tower.
Some of what we currently know is linked here, but we would be keen to hear from anyone else with any memories, archives, photos, drawings, reports or other records relating to the tower, bells or bell frame.
The bells cannot be rung, although we are carrying out a structural survey of all aspects of the tower prior to some conservation work, maintenance and roof repairs.
