There will be wreath laying at the war memorial in the churchyard during the service. Refreshments afterwards.

On Remembrance Sunday 9 November, 2025 St James North Newnton attend a joint remembrance service at 0930 at Manningford [rather than the usual 11 am service on most 2nd sundays].

That afternoon there will be a short act of remembrance at Hilcott Cemetery, around the recently cleaned War Memorial.

Please arrive before 3 pm and only park on the verge on the Northern side of the road - same side as the cemetery gates.

We hope to welcome an Army Chaplain and a Bugler to help show our respects.
All are welcome to join us. Many of us will retire to the Woodbridge Pub, North Newnton afterwards.
