Having registered in March we worked our way through the detailed survey - considering how we could bring eco-awareness into every part of church life and encourage our church family to value God's amazing creation. We want to show you how making small changes can help to improve our impact on the environment, and how we can support national and international initiatives. This could be as simple as using a prayer diary or signing an online petition! Now we have our award, our task is to build on it: continuing to improve our green credentials in how we run our buildings, manage our land, and plan our worship. As a church family we're already doing a love, but there is always room for more! Over the coming weeks and months, we'll be highlighting various resources so you can choose whatever suits you. We can all play our part in celebrating and protecting nature, and supporting initiatives aimed at creating a fairer world. Small steps can make BIG changes!
We are very excited to be launching this new group for secondary school aged young people in years 7-11. As well as a range of games and activities, we will be offering lunch to all those that come! Please let Tracey know if you are planning come (posgchildrensteam@gmail.com) so that there is enough food for everyone, and also let us know if you have any food allergies/intolerances. If you are coming to Youth Group, you are of course very welcome to come to the 10.30am service before hand and stay on.Hope to see you there!
