Sellack: St Tysilio

A few miles upstream of Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of the Wye Valley, this ancient church is at the centre of a rural parish on the banks of the River Wye in Herefordshire. Sellack is the only English Church dedicated to the Celtic Saint Tysilio, who lived in Wales in the 7th century. Worship is at the centre of church activities with Bible Study on the 2nd and Eucharist on 4th Sundays of the month plus celebrations for special occasions – Candlelight Carol Service, Christmas, Palm Sunday (with the rare custom of Pax Cakes), Easter, The Bridge Service, Harvest and occasionally hosting a Benefice service.
