Join us for a traditional and musical evening service.

This is a beautiful service, which uses service booklets so that you know which parts the minister says, and which parts the congregation say aloud. One of the main parts of the service is the Psalm for the day, which is either said aloud or sung. This is followed by readings from the Bible, including the joyous words of the Virgin Mary when she learned she would give birth to Jesus, and the heartfelt words of Simeon, when he recognises the Messiah when he meets Jesus. The service ends with prayers: the Lord's Prayer, the prayer for the day, a prayer for peace and a prayer for help against troubles. There are four hymns which are sung during the service, and a a short talk too.

This is a special edition of our monthly Cornerstone service, but this one is focused on the Christmas story. It's perfect for all ages, people who would like a more relaxed form of worship, and those who are interested in a less traditional service. Come along to an enjoyable and thought provoking service. Hear about the Christmas story, sing some well known songs (played by brilliant musucians) and pray for everyone. This is a great service to attend if you are new to Church or interested in Christianity. This service is named after the belief that Jesus is the cornerstone on which we build our faith and live our lives.

Join us as we act out the Nativity! Families and children are very welcome to join in, and you can even come already dressed up! How about a king, a shepherd, a sheep, an angel or a star? We will provide costume for you to borrow during the service too! And there'll be refreshments to enjoy afterwards.
