The Sunday School Room
Looking for a warm, welcoming space to host your next gathering? Our School Room is available to hire for all kinds of community activities with seating up to 40 people — and we'd love to help bring your event to life.
It's a flexible, well-loved space that's already home to a wide range of groups and occasions, including:
- Coffee mornings and social meet-ups — a relaxed spot for regular get-togethers, chats, and catching up with neighbours
- Business meetings and workshops — a quiet, practical space for local groups, committees, or small training sessions
- Parties and celebrations — birthdays, christenings, retirements, or any occasion worth marking
- Clubs and classes — from craft groups to exercise classes, toddler groups to book clubs
- Community gatherings — fundraisers, talks, village meetings, or simply bringing people together
Refreshment facilities are available on-site, so tea, coffee, and light catering are easy to arrange for whatever you're hosting.

Our Sunday School Room underwent a major refurbishment in 2025 including a new thatched roof, strong oak floor, new fitted kitchen, infrared heating, new lighting and a new audio visual system.
Hire charges:
- Short hire (per hour) - £7.50
- Evening (3 hours) - £20
- Half Day (6 hours) - £35
- Whole day (12 hours) - £50
Electricity, heating and broadband are inclusive of these costs.
