Our Wildlife Churchyard

We're a small group of volunteers with a simple aim: to help the plant life and wildlife that already call our churchyard home to thrive — while keeping it the peaceful, welcoming space it's always been, for quiet reflection and remembrance.

So far, with plenty of willing hands, we've put up bird and bee boxes, built log stacks to give insects somewhere to shelter, taken part in national wildlife surveys, and nurtured a wildflower area that's already surprising us — a purple orchid appeared there all on its own this year.
