Everyday faith

We want to support you as you seek to find and follow God in your everyday life. We gather on Sundays but most of us spend most of our time at work, at home, pursuing our hobbies and with our friends or family. Here you will find a story of how one person lives out their faith in their daily life, information about local gatherings and groups and links to digital journeys that people in our community are participating in online.

How we support you

Beautiful Lives

Beautiful Lives is a popular group course which helps church members develop the confidence to share their faith naturally and effectively with friends, family, colleagues and neighbours. 1 Peter 3.2-4 speaks of the beauty and reverence which should characterise our lives as Christians, and we believe that it is beautiful lives, lived in the power of the Holy Spirit, which lead others to faith.

Beautiful Lives consists of 8 sessions, offered in a user friendly format with plenty of interaction and discussion, and points towards an accessible, locally planned invitation event to be held after the completion of the course.

Participants have said "

"It changed the way I looked at people and engaged me differently with the world around me. I have become so much more aware of the possibilities of allowing God to be more clearly present in our interactions."

"Meeting with the others was encouraging, comforting and certainly strengthening for my belief. I found a new courage to stand up and be counted."

Kingsdown, Creekside & High Downs Benefice will be running this 8 week course from the week commencing 28th May 2023, finishing during the week commencing 21st July.  The special event will be held in mid-September.

To book a place please use the form below. The course is being offered at one of 4 slots on either a Wednesday or Thursday afternoon or evening from week beginning 28th May. Please use the form to indicate which you can do (preferably more than one day/time!)
