Getting here
Approaching from the north along the A6, turn left (signposted Armathwaite) off the dual carriageway and proceed down the hill to the T junction, turn right and go under the railway bridge. Soon entering the village, continue straight ahead passing the shop/Post Office (do not turn right past the Duke's Head). The church and village hall are on the left. The village hall has a prominent blue clock which is visible on approaching. The church is immediately before the village hall but is up the hill and partly obscured by trees from the road.
If approaching from the south along the A6, turn right (signposted Armathwaite) off the dual carriageway and proceed as above.
