The Spring Equinox marks the emergence of new life after the deadness of winter. This month we mark the circle of life and death by burning dead wood and returning the ashes to the soil to fertilise new growth, giving thanks for what has been and welcoming what will come.
In preparation, consider: • What signs of new life can you see in nature? • What might need to die in your life for new growth to emerge? • How has the failure or loss of something led to new vitality in your life?
Please bring food to share for a Jacob’s Join lunch and wear suitable clothing.

Maundy Thursday is part of Holy Week and is always the last Thursday before Easter, it marks the end of Lent.
At the Last Supper, Jesus blessed bread and wine, and shared them with his disciples. He then washed the feet of his disciples as an act of kindness. Oils to be used in religious ceremonies throughout the coming year are blessed on Maundy Thursday.
