There is an access ramp reached from the car park on the south side of the church.

We have a sound system with an Induction Loop. Turn your aid to 'A'.

There are available large print versions of the service sheets, Book of Common Prayer, Hymns Ancient & Modern Revised and the monthly Astbury & Smallwood Parish News - please ask if necessary.

Assistance Dogs are welcome in church and churchyard.


Our Building

Our building dates back to 1150 and is grade 1 listed. Please take care on the steps as you walk around. Thank you.


Music and Worship

There is an active group of ringers - please contact us if you wish to join.

We have hosted Congleton Choral Society, Biddulph Male Voice Choir and Nantwich Singers - details of future concerts will be posted in the News section.

The organ is a Binns from 1904 and has recently been restored and renovated.

The 8 and 6.30 services each Sunday use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer: people join us from miles around to enjoy the magnificent language in their worship of God.

There is an active choir, singing at 6.30 Evensong or Sung Eucharist and a smaller group leads the singing at 11am services.
They practise each Friday evening - please contact us if you wish to join.


Groups, Courses and Activities

We have an active Ladies' Fellowship, meeting on the third (second in December) Wednesday of each month in the Village Hall - please contact us for details.

A Mother & Toddlers group meets weekly on Wednesdays in the Village Hall during school term time - please contact us for details.

A Guidebook is available, together with a printed sheet of highlights.

We are open for services at 8, 11 and 6.30 pm every Sunday.
Please check the Events page for other times when the church is open.
