As part of this year’s Heritage Open Days, come and explore the timeless beauty of St Mary’s Church.
Wander freely through its ancient spaces and feel yourself drawn into the long, unfolding story of this sacred site. Imagine the lives that have passed through these doors, the hands that built and restored, and the voices that echoed in prayer and praise across the centuries.
Pause to admire the play of light through stained glass, the quiet strength of stonework shaped by generations, and the enduring presence of faith etched into every corner. Whether you come to see, to learn, or simply to sit in stillness, St Mary’s offers a space steeped in history and soaked in centuries of devotion.
Is the organ the King of Instruments or just a bunch of pipes and whistles? Guided by Sally, try it for yourself - all three keyboards AND the pedal keyboard for your feet! (Sunday and Saturday only)
Come and experience this iconic building—created to the glory of God, and open to all.
