CHURCH OPEN - HERITAGE OPEN DAYS

Occurring
Every day at for 2 hours
Venue
St Mary
Address
Peel Lane, Astbury Village Astbury Congleton, CW12 4RQ, United Kingdom

Come in, wander around and feel yourself step into history. Immerse yourself in the aura of the ancient stones and the play of light through the stained glass. Take time and pleasure in this iconic building, created to the glory of God.
There will be a self-guided tour, a prayer walk and a children’s trail, and stewards will be able to help visitors find the green man, Winston Churchill, the snails in the windows, etc. Try your hand at a quiz for children and the young at heart!
Or perhaps you would rather just sit quietly and unwind in a space that is soaked in centuries of prayer.

St Mary

St Mary's Church at Astbury invites everyone, wherever they may find themselves on their spiritual journey, to join in our Christian adventure. Together as a church family, we seek to grow more like Jesus, helping carry one-another’s burdens, sharing our talents and gifts, praying and worshipping together. We do not take ourselves too seriously and we know we are far from perfect, but we do make amazing cakes.

Whether you are a regular church-goer or you just want to dip in your toes and test the water, you are sure of a warm welcome at St Mary's.

SAFEGUARDING

St Mary's cares passionately about the safety of all her church family and visitors.  Read how we make provision for safeguarding here.
