for 5 hours, 30 mins
Do you enjoy singing and have some experience of singing in parts? Come and join our church choir and our celebration singers for another of our popular ‘come and sing’ choral evensongs.
The service is at 6.30 with a rehearsal from 2.00 to 5.00.
Music and listening files can be sent out in advance, and singers may join our choir for extra rehearsals on Fridays, 5th and 12th September, from 7.00 to 8.00.
The music will include an introit: 'I will thank thee' by Daniel Purcell (younger brother of Henry), an anthem: 'Almighty and everlasting God' by Orlando Gibbons, a Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in F by George Dyson, responses by William Smith of Durham, and a couple of seriously good hymns.
To take part, or for more details, please contact Sally: text 07977 903561 or [email protected]
