St David's supports Shipston on Stour Foodbank. 

We are sad to say that donations have reduced to such an extent that it is not worth our while carrying on with this.  The need is greater, which is sad.  We will carry on for May and June, thereafter depends on whether the people of Newbold still wish to support the Foodbank.  OUR DONATIONS WILL BE VERY MISSED BY SHIPSTON.

We continue to open the church on the First Saturday of the month, it is proving popular, and easy to remember. We are open for Foodbank donations from 9.30 am to 11.30am.  These are  taken to St Edmunds Church in Shipston on Stour who help people in difficulty throughout this area.  People have been very generous and our donations are helping in this uncertain time. 

As the cost of living has increased so the donations have reduced, money buys less these days, both for the needy and for the donors. Unfortunate;y the numbers using the foodbank have increased.  

Please ensure that there is a 3 month use by date.  Fresh produced is sourced elsewhere for the foodbank.
