St Peter & St Paul
"Welcome to your living church sharing the good news of Jesus."
You can be assured of a warm welcome in our beautiful old Grade 1 listed church in the village of Old Brampton on the outskirts of Chesterfield towards the Peak District. We normally have services every Sunday and mid-week Thursdays. Please delve into the ACNY pages for further detail of normal services. However, during the first 3 months of the Coronavirus lockdown we suspended all services. We opened Church for private prayer from 10am to 12 noon on Thursdays from 23rd July; our first service was a 9:30 Holy Communion on Sunday 26th July. We suspended the Thursday private prayer after a few weeks but continued with Sunday Services until the second lockdown. We will recommence Sunday Services on Sunday 6th December - only the 09:30 service until further notice - and Thursday services also remain suspended. Services during the lockdown have been maintained through pre-recording in homes and making the services available to all the Joint Benefice on YouTube. We welcomed our new Vicar, Rev'd Sarah Colver in our recorded service for 29th November..
The parish of Old Brampton: Saints Peter & Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. The Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
