Church of England Diocese of Manchester Holy Trinity, Coldhurst

Holy Trinity

We have been here since 1848 although our Vicar Rev'd David Austin only arrived in 2018.

We are a family friendly church & welcome children/babies (& adults too) - you take us as you find us. We believe in a Church that does not discriminate against people on the basis of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, physical or mental abilities. Everyone is welcome here to worship and to share in the life of this Parish. We don't stand on ceremony - apart from at the altar. We love our area & love our Worship - we are informal in a 'Low Catholic' style with set liturgy and traditional hymns.. We are committed to serving the area including the two primary schools in the vicinity.

Contact the Vicar Rev’d David Austin regarding baptisms/christenings, weddings, funerals and other pastoral services. 07740 922468 / [email protected]

The parish of Coldhurst: Holy Trinity is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
