Welcome
People of all ages and backgrounds gather here on Sundays and through the week, and we are always delighted to welcome anyone crossing the threshold for the first time, coming back after time away, or asking to be married or to have their children christened here. A Sunday School meets during the Sung Mass on Sundays, and new children of any age are always welcome.
Regular Services, Christenings and Weddings
There has been a long history of beautiful and dignified worship here. The architectural simplicity that carries the church's roof to a great height, combined with the high level of natural light, creates an atmosphere that feels like the building is reaching towards heaven. Worship is offered in a style that makes rich use of symbol and ceremony—what is usually called the Anglo-Catholic or High Church tradition of the Church of England.
Ceremonial is attentive but not fussy, aiming to preserve its purpose of helping the congregation to see past the here and now to the presence of God who is always and everywhere.
Service music is drawn from the riches of the Church of England's tradition. Hymns are mostly selected from the New English Hymnal (1989), providing words and music of good theological, literary and musical quality.

9.30 a.m. Sung Mass & Sunday School
(On any fifth Sunday, the Sung Mass will be celebrated either here at 9.30 a.m. or at St Peter's at 11.00 a.m.)
Wednesday
10.30 a.m. Low Mass
1st Fridays of the month
10.30 a.m. Mass for Mission (held alternately at St. Luke's and St. Peter's)
1st Saturdays of the month
10.30 a.m. Walsingham Mass

Finding Us
The church is a stone's throw from Wallsend Metro Station and bus station, is on main bus routes with stops just around the corner, and there is a good amount of on-street parking on Sundays, as well as the free Atkinson Terrace car park.
