St. Mary's Church is delighted to announce its having a Flower Festival, held in honour of VE Day.
The event will take place over the week of 3rd-11th May 2025 at the historic St. Mary's Church, Leigh, and promises to be a beautiful and memorable occasion for all attendees.
Victory in Europe Day, or VE Day, marks the end of World War II in Europe. It is celebrated annually on the 8th May to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who contributed to this historic victory.
The Flower Festival at St. Mary's Church is a heartfelt tribute to this pivotal moment in history, reflecting on the past while celebrating peace and community spirit. We invite everyone to join us for this special event as we come together to commemorate VE Day through the beauty of flowers and the power of community.
