FILM CLUB
A small but very select group of us sat down to watch Conclave. We were competing with the WI trip to the Sikh Temple in Gravesend, so we quite understood. It really is a most staggering film. Everyone enjoyed it to the point of speechlessness for a minute or two while we absorbed the end!
November’s film is August Rush on Tuesday 11th November. This film is described as ‘uplifting, suspenseful and emotional’. It is the story of a child, brought up in an orphanage, and his quest to find his parents through his music.
Do come. We would love to see you.
The film club happens every 2nd Tuesday morning from 10 (for coffee) and the film starts at 10.30. There is no membership fee although if you would like to contribute a small sum we put half towards running the church and half towards our Christmas party.. which is coming up next month.
Please put the date in your diary, 9 December. We will be watching the Holdovers. And celebrating with a meal afterward. Again everyone who has joined us for a film over the last year will be most welcome.
Should you require assistance getting here please do let me know. We absolutely try our best to help you in whatever way we can.
