FILM CLUB 

8th June - Genner Rooms June’s film was ‘Hidden Figures’ which managed to shock, amuse and entertain us all for a couple of wonderful hours. 

This month’s film is Hotel Rwanda’ which was cancelled during the church spring cleaning. Although the setting is the horrific genocide of 1994 this is the story of ‘an ordinary man who summons extraordinary courage to save the lives of over 1000 helpless refugees, by granting them shelter in the hotel he manages’. 

Do come. We look forward to seeing you. The film club runs on the second Tuesday of each month in the Genner Rooms, next to the church. 

We start at 10am with coffee and the film begins at about 10.30. 

There is no requirement for membership, just come along. If you should need help getting there, or home, do please let me know and I will do all I can to organise the help you need. 

There will be no film club in August but I will be publishing a future list of films in next months magazine to get them in your diaries sooner rather than later.
